These terms govern your use of our website, our published research and educational materials, our open-source tools, and the automated services and accounts we operate.
Safe AI for Humanity Foundation is a Wyoming non-profit corporation and IRS-approved 501(c)(3) organization (EIN 41-4767005). In these terms, "we," "us," and "the Foundation" refer to Safe AI for Humanity Foundation, and "you" refers to anyone who uses our services.
By accessing this website, reading or redistributing our publications, using our open-source tools, interacting with our automated services, or donating to us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
We publish public-interest AI safety research, educational materials, evaluation methods, benchmark results, incident-response planning resources, and open-source tooling. We also operate automated services — including scheduled publishing accounts and bots on third-party platforms — that distribute our research updates and related content. Everything we publish is provided for informational and educational purposes.
Some of our content is distributed by automated accounts and bots operating on third-party platforms. These services publish content on a scheduled or event-driven basis. They are not interactive support channels, they are not monitored in real time, and no reply, mention, or message sent to them should be treated as having reached us. For anything that requires a response, contact us by email at the address below.
Our automated services are also subject to the terms and policies of the platforms they run on. Your use of those platforms is governed by the platform's own terms, not by ours.
You agree not to: use our services for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, accounts, or infrastructure; interfere with, overload, or disrupt our services or the networks that carry them; scrape or automate access in a manner that degrades service for others; impersonate the Foundation or misrepresent your affiliation with us; or use our name, logo, or branding in a way that suggests endorsement we have not given.
Except where a specific license is stated, the content on this website is owned by the Foundation or its contributors. Our open-source software is licensed under the terms stated in each repository, and those license terms control for that software. You may quote and cite our published research with attribution. Our name, logo, and visual identity are not covered by any open-source license and may not be used to imply endorsement.
Our evaluation results, benchmarks, and safety findings describe model behavior observed under specific conditions at a specific point in time. Model behavior changes as vendors update their systems. Results are published with methodology notes and stated limitations, and should be read alongside them. Nothing we publish is a certification, warranty, endorsement, or guarantee of the safety, accuracy, or fitness of any AI system, product, or vendor.
Our materials are not legal, regulatory, financial, medical, or professional advice, and no relationship of that kind is created by using our services. Decisions you make based on our research are your own.
Donations are processed by Givebutter and its payment partners, subject to their terms. Donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donations are generally non-refundable; if you believe a donation was made in error, contact us and we will review the request in good faith. A donation does not create any right to direct our research agenda, our publications, or our evaluation results.
Our services rely on and link to third parties, including GitHub, Givebutter, Cloudflare, and social platforms. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Their terms and policies apply to your use of them.
We provide our services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of our website, tools, or automated services at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Foundation and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of our services. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to our services will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Foundation and its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of our services or your violation of these terms or applicable law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your country of residence.
We may update these terms as our work and services evolve. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
